Welcome to Bianchet Winery |
 |
Bianchet Wines
Bianchet Vineyard was originally set up as a market garden
by Italian migrants Lou and Theresa Bianchet.
Finding the property eminently suitable for grape vines, soon all the fruit trees and vegetable beds made way and the grape vines became the sole focus. |

 |
| Bianchet produces a wide range of award winning wines. the 1998 Chardonnay was awarded the trophy for Best White Wine in Show at the 2001 Victorian Wine Show, while the other varieties have won a plethora of awards in Australia.
Concentrating on cellar door and mailing list sales with some added sales to local restaurants means the winery focus is on premium
cool climate wine production. There is little pressure to mass produce generic wines. Bianchet wines proudly reflect the
Yarra Valley region and the vineyard.

Gold! Gold! Gold! (and Silver)
Yes we're a bit excited but they don't happen
every day. Winemaker Jeff Wright has scored a gold
medal with his 2006 Melaleuca Grove Marsanne and along
with it a Silver for the 2005 Melaleuca Grove Marsanne.
From Ray Legionne's one acre vineyard in Mount Evelyn
these wines were made here at Bianchet by Jeff and
Keith. The 2006 was only half a point from the trophy
for best other white varietal.
