On Tasting
2005 Bianchet Merlot and Shiraz
Now available at cellar door. Both wines
are looking fabulous. Quite different in character due to
the oak treatment. The Shiraz was aged in American oak and
shows the full vanillan and sweet fruit profile while the
merlot has varietal plummy fruit flavours over spicy french
oak. Very limited in volume they will sell out quickly

The classic Australian blend.
A part of our Stones Throw range and extremely good
value at the price.

Bianchet 2004 Chardonnay This Chardonnay has a lovely minerality, an almost creamy texture, with some puppy fat, hinting at nuttiness, with nice acidity & some faint citrus. It is refreshing & the wood is all but integrated into the wine, it does itself on the nose but it is nice oak.Out of 100 points, i give this two thumbs up. Ben Knight, www.benandwine.com
